Weather and seasonal symbols

Sun, clouds, snow, rain and seasonal marks for forecasts and headers.

Weather glyphs were among the earliest Unicode symbols — the sun ☀, cloud ☁ and umbrella ☂ have been encoded since the original Miscellaneous Symbols block in 1993. That means they render reliably on the oldest devices, making them the safe choice for SMS forecasts, dashboard widgets and email subject lines.

For seasonal copy — a winter newsletter header, a spring sale banner — the snowflake variants ❄ ❅ ❆ pair beautifully with the sun glyphs. Newer emoji weather (🌤 🌧 🌪) carries more visual punch but depends on full emoji-font coverage; we lead with the BMP characters for that reason.
