There is no single "love" character — but a handful of Unicode hearts and ornaments carry the meaning so consistently that they read as one. The classic ♥ is the workhorse; ❤ is its red emoji-presentation sibling; the ornamented variants ❣ ❥ ❦ ❧ add weight and warmth for invites, bios and signature lines.
Pair a heart with a typographic ornament (❦ or ❧) at the start and end of a quote for an Edwardian-greeting-card feel. For modern dating-app bios, the plain ♥ between two short phrases — "coffee ♥ thrillers" — reads as personality without tipping into kitsch.
