About the right half block symbol

This character is commonly called the right half block. It represents the right half of a solid square, leaving the left half empty. In terminal and text-based interfaces, it is used alongside its counterpart, the left half block, to create the appearance of smooth, anti-aliased graphics where full blocks would appear too coarse. Together, these half blocks allow for finer positioning in ASCII art, early computer game graphics, and simple bar charts or progress indicators displayed in monospaced fonts.
