About the right floor symbol

Right Floor is a punctuation mark shaped like a reversed corner bracket, with a horizontal top stroke that meets a vertical stroke descending from its right end. It belongs to the Miscellaneous Technical block and is classified as a close punctuation character. In technical notation, it pairs with the Left Floor character to enclose the floor or greatest integer function, where ⌊x⌋ denotes the largest integer less than or equal to x. Outside of mathematics, it appears in some computer keyboard layouts and coding environments as a bracket for specific syntax or delimiter purposes.
