Download Lower Seven Eighths Block as SVG or PNG — or add a caption to make a labelled icon, badge or sticker.
Fill color applies to monochrome symbols; multicolor emoji keep their own colors. Add a circle/rounded background to make an app icon or avatar. Exports are self-contained; the SVG embeds the glyph's font. Without a background, exports are transparent.

In terminal emulators and plain-text user interfaces, the lower seven eighths block represents a visual fill that occupies seven eighths of the character cell's height, leaving a narrow eighth at the top empty. It is one of a series of partial-block characters used for creating smooth, single-cell progress bars, volume indicators, or grayscale-like shading in text-only environments. The block sits flush with the bottom of the em box, so stacking it with other fractional blocks from the same set produces a continuous vertical rise.
