About the power symbol symbol

A circle bisected by a vertical line, with the upper half of that line broken by a gap. This symbol represents the power-on state or the act of powering a device on, commonly found on electronic equipment, computer cases, and appliance controls. It is the standard international symbol for the "on" position of a power switch, distinct from the complete power symbol that includes both on and off states.
